Caring Friends Foundation is a cause that started out of passion to advocate for persons with special needs. The journey started in 2011 with two friends, who believed in being a voice for people with special needs. They wanted to impact lives and give back in their own little way. It began as little steps, little deeds of kindness and acts of love. They soon found a sense of fulfillment and purpose in these activities and looked forward to reaching out. They believed it was time to stop waiting for leaders to take actions, they wanted to take actions and impact lives in their own circle of influence.

September 2018

In September, after a visit to one of the homes, the vision got to its appointed time and we were yet inspired to do more. This time however, we wanted a proper structure in place to deepen the impact we have made over the years.

A team of great minds came together to move the cause to the next level and birthed the official registration of Caring Friends Foundation as a Non-profit organization in November 2018. This was another defining moment and it is with great joy in our hearts that that we unveil this foundation to the world.

WHAT WE DO

Advocacy

Our FRIENDS are those that cannot CARE for themselves.

We care by creating awareness about our friends amongst our circle of influence and donating towards their needs.

We reach out to institutions and organizations to support our friends; we are interested in seeing structures established to advance the course of our friends.

Visitation

We visit homes of persons with disabilities regularly and give without expecting anything in return. We make deliberate effort to visit a home in a quarter or at least twice in a year. It is unbelievable how much these visits mean to our friends. Every visit puts smiles on their faces and this for us brings self-satisfaction.

Giving

We give unconditionally and passionately. We donate funds, food items, appliances, clothes just to mention a few.

We inspire and encourage people to give anything that will be useful to our friends.

Several people that have gone to the homes with us have been able to go back and give back, some celebrate special occasions like birthdays with them and others donate.
